Redefining the proposed gap between the sacred and the secular, singer/songwriter, Brady Toops, makes music that appeals to the soul. Drawing inspiration from artists like Jon Foreman and Johnny Cash, Brady combines elements of traditional folk, rock 'n roll, and gospel. His latest project, a self-titled, full length album, was released on 8/27/13 and debuted at #8 on the Christian/Gospel iTunes charts authenticating the grassroots following Toops has developed over the last few years. The new album was produced by David Leonard of All Sons and Daughters and displays a unique combination of hymns, spirituals, and traditional singer/songwriter tunes. With its classic melodies and organic tones, this record blends modern sounds with a vintage feel. It includes co-writes with Anthony Skinner and Mia Fieldes (Hillsong), as well as David Leonard (Integrity).

Chad Michael Snavely, producer at RELEVANT Magazine, first heard the new record from Toops a couple months before its release.  After listening to the tunes, he and RELEVANT got behind the indie record by featuring it on their re-launched streaming service called The Drop. Kevin Davis of NewReleaseTuesday.com commented in his review of the new record, “My favorite types of albums grow deeper with each listen, and Brady Toops is the deepest album I’ve heard all year.”
