Jocelyn Arndt crafts songs that evoke breathtaking emotion. Through ideal combination of melody and lyric, Jocelyn's music connects with her audience in a way that is intimate and personal.

Jocelyn and her brother and co-writer Chris began to reach out past their living room practice space as kids, playing anywhere they could find permission and a power outlet. While Jocelyn began to develop her own distinctive singing style, Chris’s guitar skills flourished, aided heavily by the inspiration they both drew from the great voices and players they’d grown up listening to on classic rock stations and through their parents’ bottomless cd collection.

Soon the two began writing original music, combining retro grooves and classic rock attitude in a unique, modern blend that still remains surprisingly tangable. The music is a stunning, mature, sound with timeless energy and a tendency toward the heart.

Today their blend of texture and immense broad-genre appeal create marketability that is worlds beyond ordinary. With songs that conjure a unique emotional path that winds effortlessly through blues-inspired contemporary-alternative tempered with elements of jazz and world music, always anchored by Jocelyn’s captivating vocals.

Ryan Oyer can masterfully draw his audience into the moments of each of his songs, using an intimate acoustic setting or full band utilizing other crafted, gifted musicians.  The music and the man has stepped forward this year ahead of 34 other local bands to win the headliner on the River City Miller stage in Chattanooga’s Nightfall Music series on July 10th.

Ryan’s debut 2010 release “Come Together” was a record parked at the intersection of Gallagher Lane and Abbey Road. The Chattanooga songwriter had become well-known for insightful love songs wrapped in Beatlesque melodies and “Come Together” showcased those song beautifully. Oyer’s more recent album “Metamorphosis” represents a big step forward for the singer/songwriter. Embracing a wide array of Britpop influences, and whether toughened up with a full band, backed by a few members or solo “Metamorphosis” is the sound of a man coming into his own. Ryan is currently working on a new album and EP set for release soon.

Jess Goggans  is the soul that can bring music to a new age. Lookout Mountain singer/songwriter who declares her genre as "Funky Folk" with a rhythm of funk but the story of folk music. Jess has a way of transforming any song into a soulful expression. A range that leaves you wanting more. Original songs that make you feel connected by experience. "There is no audience, everyone is part of the show!" Harmonica, Guitar and Vocals tell a story all their own. Influences such as Susan Tedeschi, Janis Joplin, Joe Cocker and Bob Dylan.
